2024 Nevada State Assembly Primary Results
All 42 seats of the state's lower legislative chamber are up this year.
The Democratic and Republican primaries occurred today in Nevada to select candidates for the November general election. That included the races for all 42 seats in the State Assembly for regular two-year terms.
The Nevada State Assembly currently features 28 Democrats and 14 Republicans. 31 incumbents ran for re-nomination today - with open seat contests in Districts 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 17, 24, 27, 29, 34, and 35. It only takes a plurality of the vote for a candidate to receive their party’s nomination.
For District 1:

Garland Brinkley won the Republican primary unopposed.
For District 2:
Ron Nelsen won the Democratic primary unopposed.
Incumbent Heidi Kasama won the Republican primary unopposed.
For District 3:

Michele Rizza won the Republican primary unopposed.
For District 4:
Ryan Hampton won the Democratic primary unopposed.
Lisa Cole won the Republican primary unopposed.
For District 5:
Incumbent Brittney Miller won the Democratic primary unopposed.
Kelly Quinn won the Republican primary with 58.3% against Alan Bigelow with 41.7%. 2,881 votes counted.
For District 6:
Jovan Jackson won the Democratic primary with 84.0% against Derek Rimson with 16.0%. 2,777 votes counted.
Nephi Oliva won the Republican primary unopposed.
For District 7:
Tanya Flanagan won the Democratic primary with 80.6% against James Fennell II with 19.4%. 3,415 votes counted.

Incumbent Steve Yeager won the Democratic primary with 83.2% against Adeline Celio with 16.8%. 2,973 votes counted.

Venise Karris won the Democratic primary with 47.3% against Valerie Thomason with 34.5% and Kyle Greenwood with 18.1%. 3,593 votes counted.

Cinthia Moore won the Democratic primary with 78.4% against Thomas Lambert with 21.6%. 1,465 votes counted.
Jeffrey Lustick won the Republican primary with 67.5% against Anthony Manesa with 32.5%. 467 votes counted.

Nancy Roecker won the Republican primary with 59.9% against Al Rojas with 40.1%. 3,037 votes counted.
