Casting News - "The Agency," "The Better Sister," "One Piece" and "Welcome to Derry"
Another Academy Award nominee joins the Showtime drama.
SHOWTIME's THE AGENCY
Jeffrey Wright will star opposite Michael Fassbender in the upcoming drama based on the French series The Bureau. In 2023, he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the film American Fiction. He has also received five Emmy Award nominations - winning in 2004 for his role in HBO's Angels in America.
He will play Henry, the Director of Operators and mentor to Martian (Fassbender).
AMAZON's THE BETTER SISTER
Gloria Reuben has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. She previously starred for six seasons in NBC's ER, receiving two Emmy Award nominations for her performance. She has also recurred on USA's Mr. Robot, NBC's Blindspot, Showtime's City on a Hill and CBS' Elsbeth.
She will play Michelle Sanders, a respected lawyer who has made a career of standing up when she's told to sit down. She faces a new kind of challenge when she crosses paths with Chloe (Biel) and Nicky (Banks).
HBO's WELCOME TO DERRY
Alixandra Fuchs, Kimberly Guerrero, Dorian Grey, Thomas Mitchell, BJ Harrison, Peter Outerbridge, Shane Marriott, Chad Rook, Joshua Odjick and Morningstar Angelina have landed recurring roles on the upcoming It prequel starring Bill Skarsgård.
No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
NETFLIX's ONE PIECE
Werner Coetser, Brendan Murray and Clive Russell have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Coetser previously starred in the South African dramas Getroud Met Rugby and Diepe Waters. Murray recurred on Max's Warrior and Raised by Wolves. Russell recurred on HBO's Game of Thrones, AMC's The Terror and Sky One's Code 404.
Coetser and Murray will play Dorry and Brogy, the two captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates.
Russell will play Crocus, a wise doctor and lighthouse keeper.
