Casting News - "Abbott Elementary," "The Beast in Me," "JonBenét Ramsey," "Overcompensating" and "Upload"
Four actors to co-star on the Netflix limited series.
NETFLIX's THE BEAST IN ME
Brittany Snow, Natalie Morales, David Lyons and Tim Guinee will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys. Snow starred in the Pitch Perfect film franchise. Morales is currently recurring on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. Lyons currently stars in the Australian drama Troppo, which aired its second season earlier this year. Guinee starred in the Max limited series The Staircase.
Snow will play Nina, Nile's (Rhys) spouse.
Morales will play Shelley, Aggie's (Danes) ex-wife.
Lyons will play FBI Agent Brian Abbot.
Guinee will play Wrecking Ball, an intimidating presence in Nile's life.
PARAMOUNT+'s JONBENÉT RAMSEY
John Billingsley and Jeremy Bobb have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming limited series starring Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen. Billingsley previously starred for four seasons in UPN's Star Trek: Enterprise and recurred on AppleTV+'s Manhunt. Bobb starred for two seasons in Cinemax's The Knick, in the HBO limited series The Outsider, and in the Peacock limited series The Continental.
Billingsley will play Bill McReynolds, a neighbor of the Ramseys, friendly with an earnest, over-the-top naivete. He has always played Santa at the neighborhood Christmas parties, and he does so at the Ramseys' party this year.
Bobb will play Pete Hofstrom, the Boulder Deputy District Attorney who seemingly sides with the Ramseys once the tragedy strikes.
AMAZON's UPLOAD
Lee Majdoub has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming fourth and final season. He currently stars in the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise. He previously recurred on The CW's The 100 and Audience Network's You Me Her.
No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
AMAZON's OVERCOMPENSATING
Tomaso Sanelli has landed a recurring role on the upcoming comedy created by and starring Benito Skinner. He previously starred for four seasons in Hulu's Holly Hobbie.
He will play Trent, a cute freshman jock who isn't very interested in schoolwork. He immediately sees Carmen (Wally Baram) as the kind of girl he can use to do his homework.
ABC's ABBOTT ELEMENTARY
Rob McElhenney, Danny DeVito and Charlie Day will appear as their It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia characters in an upcoming episode of the comedy's fourth season. The FX comedy has been renewed for its seventeenth and eighteenth seasons - with McElhenney and Day starring since the beginning and DeVito joining during the second season.
No details were immediately announced about how the crossover between the two sitcoms will occur.
