Rachel Maes and Andrea Gage Lead Primaries for Open Seats on Brown County Board of Supervisors
Wisconsin conducted primaries today for the Boards of Supervisors in Brown, Dane, Milwaukee, and Waukesha Counties.

The nonpartisan primaries occurred today in Wisconsin to select the two candidates advancing to the general election for statewide and county contests this spring. This post will cover the races for the Wisconsin Supreme Court as well as every seat on the Boards of Supervisors in the state’s four most populous counties - Brown, Dane, Milwaukee, and Waukesha.
The general election for all of these races will be held on April 7, 2026. Of the 107 contests detailed below, only seven had competitive primaries today.
Wisconsin Supreme Court:
Court of appeals judges Maria Lazar and Chris Taylor will advance.
Brown County Board of Supervisors:
For District 1, 2025 Green Bay school board candidate Megan Martens and nurse Dawn Schampers will advance.
For District 2, Green Bay city prosecutor Rachel Maes and pastor Luke Farwell will advance with 51.4% (408) and 37.1% (295) against National Guard veteran William Swisher with 11.5% (91). 794 votes counted.
For District 3, incumbent Andy Nicholson will advance unopposed.
For District 4, incumbent Emily Jacobson and Reyes Flores will advance.
For District 5, incumbent Dan Theno will advance unopposed.
For District 6, former Green Bay school board president Eric Vanden Heuvel will advance unopposed.
For District 7, former De Pere Alderperson Sam Dunlop will advance unopposed.
For District 8, incumbent Megan Borchardt and Rexton Manibog will advance.
For District 9, incumbent Patrick Evans will advance unopposed.
For District 10, incumbent John Vander Leest and campground host Pete Borchardt will advance with 56.3% (343) and 24.3% (148) against retail specialist Jon Schultz with 19.4% (118). 609 votes counted.
For District 11, incumbent Patrick Buckley and administrative assistant Dawn Spice will advance.
For District 12, incumbent Kevin Gannon will advance unopposed.
For District 13, incumbent Norbert Dantinne will advance unopposed.
For District 14, appointed incumbent Ronald Vigil and Christopher Welch will advance.
For District 15, appointed incumbent Terry Rentmeester and sales consultant Charles Collier will advance.
For District 16, incumbent David Kaster will advance unopposed.
For District 17, incumbent John Van Dyck will advance unopposed.
For District 18, incumbent Katie McDonald will advance unopposed.
For District 19, attorney Andrea Gage and Army veteran Daniel Ammerman will advance with 53.0% (481) and 40.9% (371) against TSA officer Michael Marschie with 6.1% (55). 907 votes counted.
For District 20, incumbent Devon Coenen will advance unopposed.
For District 21, appointed incumbent Stephen Zeke Przybelski and County Democratic party official Lindsay Prall will advance
For District 22, appointed incumbent Rick Van Lanen and business owner Jacob Toll will advance.
For District 23, incumbent Dixon Wolfe and County Democratic party official Jonathan Zamaites will advance.
For District 24, incumbent Ross Toellner and financial counselor Myra Geraldson will advance.
For District 25, incumbent Tom Lund and Marine veteran Rachael Messerschmidt will advance.

Dane County Board of Supervisors:

For District 15, appointed incumbent Amy Larson and 2023/25 Madison common council runner-up Anthony Amato will advance with 61.4% (1,221) and 33.3% (661) against school services consultant Rick Cruz with 5.3% (106). 1,988 votes counted.
For District 16, incumbent Rick Rose and 2021 District 12 board candidate Goodwill Obieze will advance.
