Max Reveals Premiere Date for New Comedy "Bookie"

Max has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Bookie starring Sebastian Maniscalco.
The 8-episode first season will debut on Thursday, November 30 with its first three episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday until the season finale on January 4.
The comedy follows veteran Los Angeles bookie Danny (Maniscalco) as the potential legalization of sports gambling in California threatens to upend his business for good. Full of relatable mishaps, the series chronicles one man's journey to adapt to an ever-changing world as he attempts to charm and con his way to the top.
In addition to Maniscalco, the comedy stars Omar J. Dorsey, Vanessa Ferlito, Andrea Anders, Maxim Swinton and Jorge Garcia.
Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay created the comedy. They executive produce with Maniscalco, Judi Marmel and director Andy Tennant. Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions produce.
