In the other half of the main draw, Kovacevic defeated Hady Habib of Lebanon (No. 172), wildcard Luis Carlos Álvarez of Mexico (No. 784), Juan Pablo Ficovich of Argentina (No. 148), and top seed Andrey Rublev of Russia (No. 10). This was the second ATP final he has competed in. Both were at 250-level events.
The revised rankings for the 2025 ATP Tour will be officially released on Monday, July 21. The tour will then play three tournaments from July 20-27: the Washington Open in Washington, D.C. (an ATP 500 event), the Austrian Open in Kitzbühel, Austria (an ATP 250 event), and the Croatia Open in Umag, Croatia (an ATP 250 event). The competition in D.C. will be played on hard courts, while the events in Austria and Croatia will be contested on clay courts.

Furthermore, Francisco Cerúndolo of Argentina (No. 20) is the reigning champion at the Croatia Open. He is looking to defend the title as the top seed at this year’s event. The top four seeds receive byes into the second round of competition.
Kovacevic is scheduled to play at the Washington Open. He will compete as an unseeded player. In the first round, he will face off against Quentin Halys of France (No. 52). And finally, Shapovalov will not be playing anywhere this week.
